The newest Vinylmation series – Park Starz 3 – was recently released and now fans and collectors have a chance to meet the artists behind the series.
On Friday, June 27, three Disney Design Group artists – Thomas Scott, Casey Jones, and Caley Hicks – will be meeting fans at D-Street in Downtown Disney from 5-6 p.m. The artists will be signing Vinylmations and talking with fans.
The new Park Starz 3 series features classic Disney characters from shows, parades, and attractions at the Disney Parks. The characters include Dreamfinder, a Space Mountain astronaut, the turtle from the Main Street Electric Parade, and a caveman from Spaceship Earth.
The series features 12 figures – 11 that are known and one “chaser.” The Vinylmations are sold individually in mystery boxes or fans can purchase the entire series in a tray.
The Park Starz 3 series also includes limited edition figures such as the Pirate with the pig and the Big Al with Trixie set and these were released on June 20. The Mission:SPACE astronaut and the clear Hitchhiking Ghost will be released on June 27.
