August Merchandise Events Announced for the Walt Disney World Resort

The Walt Disney World Resort has recently announced the merchandise events for the month of August and they include a game night at Downtown Disney, a Disney trading night, and several appearances by artists.

Starting out the month on August 7-11, Disney-inspired artist Greg McCullough will have an artist showcase at Art of Disney in the Downtown Disney Marketplace from 1-5 p.m. and 6-10 p.m. each day. McCullough is also appearing August 21-25 at the Art of Disney in Epcot.

On August 9-11 fans can join Disney Design Group Artist Quynh Kimball at Once Upon a Toy in the Downtown Disney Marketplace for game night. This event will showcase some of the new Disney Theme Park Edition board games including Monopoly, Scrabble, and Memory.

The Disney Trading Night is scheduled for 6-9 p.m. on August 13 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. This event is for all pin traders from the novice to avid trader and is a great place to talk about your pin collections and meet other traders. There will also be a product signing with Disney Design Group artists.

For the Disney Trading Night, Disney bus transportation will be running to and from the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex until about 10 p.m. The Trading Night is set to take place in the ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill Restaurant and space is very limited. Traders are encouraged to limit the number of items they choose to bring.

On August 16-18, Precious Moments doll maker Linda Rick is scheduled to appear at Once Upon a Toy in the Downtown Disney Marketplace to celebrate the release of her newest collection of dolls inspired by characters from The Hundred Acre Woods.

And, at the end of the month Larry Dotson will be appearing at the Art of Disney in Downtown Disney Marketplace
