Cancellation Fees Expanded to All Table Service Restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort

If you have plans to make table service reservations at the Walt Disney World Resort after October 31, be prepared to provide a credit card number when making the reservation.

Disney has announced that it is expanding the credit card guarantee to all table service locations beginning at the end of this month.

For the last two years Disney has enforced a credit card guarantee and a monetary penalty for failure to provide a 24-hour notice of a reservation cancellation at Walt Disney World’s signature restaurants. With this new policy that penalty – $10 per person – will be extended to all table service restaurants at Walt Disney World.

The new policy requires that guests provide a credit card for all table service reservations. If guests fail to provide a 24-hour notice of cancellation their card will be charged $10 per guest.

Guests who fail to cancel their reservation for a dinner show location – or any other pre-paid restaurant – will be charged the full amount of the pre-paid reservation.

The new cancellation policy will apply to all table service locations, even non-Disney operated restaurants.

Guests can cancel their dining reservations at guest relations, the restaurants podiums, the Disney Dining website, or by calling a special phone number 407-WDW-CNCL. Cancellations must be made by 11:59 p.m. on the day prior to the reservation to avoid the cancellation fees.
