‘Chronicle’ Scribe Max Landis Sells Sci-Fi Film Pitch to Disney

Sources have reported that Chronicle scribe Max Landis recently sold an as-yet-untitled sci-fi film pitch to Disney, with Andrew Panay on board as a producer.

While the details about the film pitch are sketchy right now, it has been described as an “emotional journey of a brother and sister as they undertake an epic adventure.”

20th Century Fox’s Chronicle has yet to even be released in theaters, but Landis already appears to be gaining some heat in Hollywood circles. In addition to his Chronicle writing and the sci-fi film pitch, he was also hired to pen a Frankenstein script for Fox as well as a fantasy thriller based on the Pied Piper.

We’ll keep you updated on any details about this untitled pitch when and if they become available.
