D23: The Official Disney Fan Club recently announced its slate of special member events for 2017.
Some of the events include screenings of Disney films like Tangled and Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. There will also be events at the Walt Disney Studios lot and the Walt Disney World Resort.
The 2017 D23 Fanniversary is celebrating the 35th anniversary of Epcot, and D23 will have special events at Disney World in addition to stories of the theme park told via videos, photos, and artwork.
The 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival will once again feature D23’s Sip and Stroll event. West Coast members can enjoy D23 events that are planned in conjunction with Disneyland’s culinary festivals.
D23 members will once again have the chance to tour the Walt Disney Studios lot, including the Walt Disney Archives and a members-only visit to Walt’s office.
Mousequerade, the D23 Expo’s costume contest, is returning to the 2017 D23 Expo on July 14-16. Next year’s contest will feature a group category.
