Disney Junior Celebrates the Holidays with Themed Episodes of Shows and Special Guest Stars

Disney Junior is celebrating the holidays this year with special episodes of some of the network’s hit shows and special guest stars.

On Sunday, December 1 on the 24-hour Disney Junior network, Jeffrey Tambor and Tony Hale (both from Arrested Development) reprise their roles as Santa and Tobias the elf on Doc McStuffins. In the episode Tobias accidentally breaks a piece of Danny’s Christmas present so Doc and the toys travel to Santa’s workshop to find a replacement part.

Following the very special episode of Doc McStuffins a new holiday-themed episode of Sofia the First debuts. In the episode, a snowstorm prevents King Roland from returning home in time for the holidays and Sofia leads the family on an expedition to find him. Princess Aurora makes a special appearance and helps Sofia and her animal friends reunite the royal family.

On December 6 on the Disney Channel a new episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates debuts with Rhys Darby (Flight of the Conchords) reprising his role as the voice of Percy the Penguin. In the episode, a blizzard hits Never Land and Jake, Izzy, Cubby, and Percy head out on an adventure to find the Fire Red Rubies to cure a sick Skully.

Other special holiday-themed episodes will air for Henry Hugglemonster, Octonauts, and Minnie’s Bow Toons.
