The Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) treats recently debuted and include apples, cake pops, and Krispie treats that have all been decorated to look like colorful candy skulls. The treats are decorated with caramel, white chocolate, sugar, candy pieces, and even marshmallow flowers.
The cake pops are available in chocolate or red velvet cake and the candy apples are made with tart Granny Smith apples.
Guests visiting Frontierland in Disneyland park will also have a chance to check out the traditional skeleton display near the Rancho del Zocalo Restaurant. This Dia de los Muertos display will be up during Halloween Time.
The special Dia de los Muertos treats are available at the Candy Palace on Main Street U.S.A. in Disneyland, Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure, and Marceline’s Confectionery in the Downtown Disney District.
