Disney’s beloved classic Lady and the Tramp will be the first Disney Diamond Edition release in 2012. While the film was restored and brought back in 2006, it has since languished in the Disney vault since 2007.
While several features from the 2006 re-release will be included with the Diamond Edition, other features are completely brand new. The new edition will include audio commentary from Walt Disney, as well as an “Inside Walt’s Story Meetings” feature. Additional features include three brand new deleted scenes; a release of the previously unrecorded “I’m Free As A Breeze” track and the original storyboards and trailers.
Lady and the Tramp will be re-released on Blu-Ray and DVD on February 7, 2012.
