‘Glee’s’ Jonathan Groff to Voice Lead Role in ‘Frozen’

Sources have announced that Glee star Jonathan Groff will be voicing the lead male role in Disney’s animated film Frozen

The animated film, currently in production, is loosely based on Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale The Snow Queen. In Disney’s adaptation, Anna (voiced by Kristen Bell) pairs with Groff’s Kristoff and his friend Sven (who happens to be a reindeer) to find Anna’s sister Elsa (Idina Menzel.) Elsa is magically able to control the weather, and has caused a perpetual winter to befall the land.

Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck are directing the film, which will debut in theaters on November 27, 2013.
