Halloween Fun Planned at Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District

downtown disney district DLHalloween celebrations are in full swing at the Downtown Disney District in the Disneyland Resort.

Several of the District’s merchants and restaurants have Halloween specials throughout the month and the AMC Downtown Disney 12 is showing Halloween-themed movies on Thursday nights.

Guests can nosh on seasonal treats at Starbucks, La Brea Bakery, Jamba Juice, Haagen-Dazs, and Marceline’s Confectionery through the end of the month. At Build-A-Bear Workshop guests can build a special werewolf just in time for Halloween.

In the WonderGround Gallery and Kaman’s Art Shop art fans will find special Halloween-themed artwork. And, the newly-opened Anna & Elsa’s Boutique is offering an Frozen-themed makeover for the kids.

Later this month guests at Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen cake try their hand at a Haunted Gingerbread House Building Workshop (on October 25 and 26).

The Halloween-themed movie nights at the AMC Downtown Disney includes Casper on October 16, and the original Frankenstein and The Mummy starring Boris Karloff on October 23. On Friday, October 24 the theater will present a limited engagement of Maleficent and audience members will receive Maleficent horns.

And no Halloween celebration is complete with a viewing of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas – which is scheduled at the AMC theaters on October 31 and November 1.
