As we continue to look forward to the re-release of the Disney-Pixar classic Finding Nemo in 3D later this summer, news is now coming that Finding Nemo 2 may very well be in the development stages.
While details are sketchy at present and Pixar has declined to comment, Deadline.com has reported that John Carter director Andrew Stanton, who also wrote and directed the original film, will be returning to the director’s chair for another installment in the saga of Marlin, Nemo, and Friends. In addition, Hollywood Reporter is expanding with additional team players, claiming that writer Victoria Strouse will pen the script, while Lindsey Collins is on board for producing. HR is also reporting a possible release date sometime during 2016.
Will it all pan out? We will have to wait and see, but stay tuned to DisZine for the details.
