‘Kingdom Hearts 3D’ to Debut Next Year

The official title of Square-Enix’s new game is Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance,] and sources say it is slated to drop in North America and Europe sometime next year.

Director Tetsuya Nomura says that the latest Kingdom Hearts game is “the opening chapter of the final conflict,” and stars Sora and Riku who enter the “Sleeping Worlds” in order to become Keyblade Masters at King Mickey’s request. In this game, the main characters will travel through multiple Disney-inspired locales, including one based on The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Little information is available about this title thus far, but we will keep you posted as more details become available.
