Pixar Pier opens June 23 and Disney California Adventure and we’re getting even more details about the re-imagined area.
Guests will be able to visit four distinct neighborhoods on Pixar Pier – Incredible Park, Toy Story Boardwalk, Pixar Promenade, and Inside Out Headquarters.
Incredible Park will be home to the new Incredicoaster and the area itself will feature “mid-century modern design aesthetics” according to Disney. Jack-Jack Cookie Num-Nums will be located here.
At Toy Story Boardwalk guests will be shrunk down to the size of a toy on Toy Story Midway Mania, and Jessie’s Critter Carousel will open in this area in 2019. Eats on the Boardwalk include Poultry Palace and Señor Buzz Churro.
Pixar Promenade will “celebrate the heartwarming stories and beloved characters from all of Pixar’s films” and will be home to the Pixar Pal-a-Round Ferris wheel. Games of the Boardwalk will include Heimlich’s Candy Corn Toss, Wall-E Space Race, La Luna Star Catcher, and Bullseye Stallion Stampede.
And guests can enjoy Pixar Pier eats at Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff and Angry Dogs.
And finally, at Inside Out Headquarters will be home to a playground area that will open at a later date.
