New Allergy-Friendly Menus Debut at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort

Walt Disney World ParkWalt Disney World Resort and Disneyland are launching all-new allergy-friendly menus at more than 120 quick service and table service locations.

The introduction of the new menus started April 14 at the signature restaurants. The remaining table service and quick service restaurants will debut the menus through September.

Restaurants at Downtown Disney and the Walt Disney World Resort water parks are also included.

In 2013 casts members assisted with more than 650,000 special dietary requests according to Gary Jones, chef and culinary dietary specialist for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts.

The allergy-friendly menu will provide allergen content for every menu item including appetizers, entrees, side items, desserts, and kids’ menu item. Allergens listed will be: gluten/wheat, milk, peanut, tree nut, and fish.

Guests will still have the opportunity to consult with a chef or special diets trained cast member in addition to consulting the menu.
