On Father’s Day weekend, Downtown Disney will be the site of Car Masters Weekend which puts the spotlight on classic and exotic cars. The weekend also includes experiences that feature characters from Disney/Pixar’s Cars franchise.
Starbucks is arriving in Downtown Disney this summer with two new locations – a storefront in Downtown Disney West Side and a kiosk near the World of Disney in the Downtown Disney Marketplace.
The Marketplace Co-Op is also scheduled to open this summer. This new retail location is a test space for Disney retail concepts and will feature six boutiques under one roof. The boutiques are: Beautifully Disney, Cherry Tree Land, D-Tech on Demand, The Trophy Room, Disney Centerpiece, and Zoey and Pickles.
Later in the summer the Food Truck Park will open, serving as the permanent home for the four Disney Food Trucks. This park is located between Bongos Cuban Café and the Starbucks storefront.
Disney Springs will be completed in 2016.
