New Hidden Mickey Pin Collections Arriving at Disney Parks This Month

Disney pin collectors will be able to trade pins for a new collection of Hidden Mickey pins at the Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland later this month.

The Hidden Mickey pins are given to cast members to use for pin trading with guests. Each pin features a small Mickey Mouse icon. The first part of the 2013 collection was released back in February.

The Disneyland collection of pins includes a Peter Pan set which honors the 60th anniversary of the film. There is also a set called Just Got Happier which is inspired by the signage from the resort during the reopening of Disney California Adventure park. Other pins include a White Glove set featuring Disney characters who wear gloves and a Winnie the Pooh set.

Special to this release is the bi-coastal bird set. This collection features Disney birds and there will be different birds found in the Disneyland collection and the Walt Disney World collection.

The Walt Disney World Resort collection features a Park Icons with Disney Characters set that includes Figment on Spaceship Earth, Tinker Bell on Cinderella’s Castle, and Stich as the Tree of Life. Other sets include Patriotic Disney Characters, Sports Goofy, Days of the Week Pluto, and Disney’s Pin Traders Icons which features the oversized character statutes at Disney’s Pin Traders in the Downtown Disney Marketplace.

There is also a set of silver chaser pins both the Disneyland and Walt Disney World collection. These counterparts to pins in the series are somewhat difficult to find when trading with cast members.
