Rafiki’s Planet Watch is closing next month at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The area includes Conservation Station, the Affection Section petting zoo, and the Habitat Habit! trail and is reachable via the Wildlife Express Train.
Guests have been able to meet Doc McStuffins, Rafiki, and other characters in the area, in addition to watching animal care cast members at work.
The last day for Rafiki’s Planet Watch is October 20.
There is no word yet on what, if anything, will replace Rafiki’s Planet Watch at the Animal Kingdom. However, the park will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of The Lion King starting January 18, 2019, with the all-new Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party.
