A home modeled after Disney’s Haunted Mansion attraction is up for sale in Duluth, GA. Theme-park memorabilia reseller Theme Park Connection is selling the 10,000 square-foot home that was constructed to look exactly like the famous attraction.
The seven bedroom, six bathroom home was originally constructed by Mark Hurt, who got permission from Disneyland officials to walk around the outside of the attraction in order to get the home’s measurements correct. A replica plaque to the entrance of the home also reads “The Haunted Mansion,” although Hurt assures potential buyers that there has been no evidence the home is truly haunted.
While the inside of the home is done in a contemporary style, Hurt paid homage to the Disneyland attraction by dedicating one bathroom to a variation of the “Hitchhiking Ghost” scene from the attraction.
Hurt is selling the home to move onto other projects, including a home designed to look like Disney’s Grand Californian resort. The asking price for the home is $873,000. For more information, please visit themeparkconnection.com.
