On September 7 guests can stop at the WonderGround Gallery in the Downtown Disney District for a peek at the current Pop Fusion exhibit featuring releases by Joey Chou and Michelle Romo. The event takes place from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. and will showcase original and limited edition artwork as well as merchandise inspired by the art.
Precious Moments doll maker Linda Rick will be at the China Closet in Disneyland on September 13-15 from 12 – 10 p.m. each day. She’ll be celebrating the release of the Hundred Acre Woods-inspired collection in addition to a Sofia the First-themed collection.
Also happening during the weekend of September 14-15 is an appearance by artist Bob Elias at Disneyana in Disneyland. Bob will be celebrating the release of some of his new pieces including Love’s Light, Mickey and Pluto, and Madness in Wonderland. Fans can meet Bob from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on the scheduled days.
The next Disney Trading Night is scheduled for September 20 from 5-8 p.m. in the Pacific Ballroom at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. The official event pin will be available for purchase earlier in the day at Disney’s Pin Traders. If you’re a trader – avid or novice – this is your event.
Near the end of the month on September 27, Monty Maldovan will be on hand at D Street in the Downtown Disney District to celebrate the release of the new Silly Symphony Vinylamtion. This event is planned for 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Rounding out the merchandise events is a special appearance on September 28 by SoCal artist Noah at WonderGround Gallery from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Noah will be releasing his newest piece called There’s a Rumor. And on September 28-29 artist Dave Avanzino will be appearing at Disneyana on Main Street U.S.A. featuring his custom letter plaques.
September’s artist in residence is David Lozeau and he’ll be appearing at WonderGround Gallery on September 1, 6, 8, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22, and 27 from 5 – 9 p.m.
