New ‘Star Wars’ Day at Sea Experiences Announced

When Star Wars Day at Sea returns to the Disney Fantasy in January guests will have a chance to enjoy new experiences featuring the Dark Side, the Resistance, and more.
The Dark Side experiences include: Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers marching into the ship’s atrium the night before the event and Kylo Ren appearing at the Jedi Training Academy.
For the Resistance, Rey will be part of the Summon the Force nighttime show; a new “Porgs Onboard! Scavenger Hunt” will take place with Chewbacca; and guests can view all the Star Wars …

New Experiences and Spaces Coming to the Disney Magic

Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Magic is headed to dry dock and will reemerge next spring with new experiences and spaces for guests.
Additions to the ship include the first-ever Tangled-themed restaurant.
Rapunzel’s Royal Table will be a family-style restaurant with characters and live entertainment inspired by the film including themed menus, special activities, and a parade.
Vibe, the area for teens ages 14-17 is being reimagined into a “trendy urban loft environment.” The updated area will feature a coffee and smoothie bar, virtual reality games, and more.

Disney Cruise Line Announces 2019 Sailing Itineraries

Disney Cruise Line has announced its sailing itineraries for early 2019.
The early 2019 season includes two months of sailings from San Diego to Baja and the Mexican Riviera.
Other sailings will travel to the Bahamas and the Caribbean from Florida ports, and sailings to the Southern Caribbean from San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The Disney Wonder will sail from San Diego from March to May 2019 with stops in Baja, Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, and Mazatlán.

New ‘Doctor Strange’ Show Coming to Marvel Day at Sea on Disney Cruise Line

The Disney Cruise Line’s Marvel Day at Sea has added a new, interactive show starring Doctor Strange.
During the show families will be invited to join Doctor Strange on a journey to explore the Mystic Arts.
The new show will feature projections and special effect, transporting guests to the New York Sanctum Santorum where Doctor Strange lives. Kids in the audience will be called upon to become apprentices and will receive a certificate at the end of their “training.”

Full Roster of Marvel Characters Announced for Marvel Day at Sea

Marvel Super Heroes are set to sail on the Disney Cruise Line this fall and again next year as part of the Marvel Day at Sea event.
Characters set to appear include Black Widow, Hawkeye, Black Panther, Loki, Iron Man, Star-Lord, Gamora, Groot, Spider-Man, Captain America, Thor, and Doctor Strange.

Disney’s Castaway Cay Named Top Cruise Line Private Island

Disney Cruise Line’s Castaway Cay has been named the top cruise line private island in the annual Cruise Critic Cruisers’ Choice Destination Awards.
This was the second year in a row that Castaway Cay has received this award from Cruise Critic.
Castaway Cay was also named the most highly rated Caribbean island overall among Cruise Critic members.
The Cruise Critic Cruiser’s Choice Destination Awards are based on feedback from cruisers that has been gathered on the Cruise Critic website over the past year.

Disney Cruise Line Planning Three New Ships in Expansion

The news coming out of D23 wasn’t just about the exciting new things coming to the Disney Parks and Resorts. We also heard big news about the Disney Cruise Line.
Bob Chapek, Chairman of the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts announced that Disney Cruise Line is building three new ships – which is an update to the announcement in 2016 that two new ships were being added to the fleet.

Broadway Stars Joining Entertainment Lineup on Disney Cruise Line

Guests sailing on the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder this summer have a chance to catch some Broadway stars as part of the on-ship entertainment.
The Stars Set Sail live concert series presented by Disney Theatrical Productions features several Broadway stars on most European cruises this summer.
Each of the shows is unique, showcasing the star’s theatrical repertoire.
