Work is progressing on the new Guardians of the Galaxy attraction coming to Epcot.
The attraction is set to be one of the world’s largest indoor coasters and to make room for it a new building is being built next to the former home of the Universe of Energy.
Disney reported that last week 960 trucks’ worth of concrete was poured as part of the construction project.
The new attraction will have “an epic storyline being developed by Walt Disney Imagineering in close collaboration with the original filmmakers.”

Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Mix Live! starts June 9 at Epcot’s America Theater Gardens as part of the Incredible Summer celebration at the Walt Disney World Resort.
This “musical journey through the cosmos” takes place five times a day at Epcot and features Star Lord and Gamora.
It’ll run from June 9 through August 19.
Admission to Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Mix Live! is included in Epcot admission.
