Walt Disney World Announces Night of Joy Schedule

Next month’s Night of Joy event at the Walt Disney World Resort will feature two legends of Contemporary Christian music – Steven Curtis Chapman and Michael W. Smith – along with other artists.
Disney has recently announced the schedule for both nights of the event, September 6 and 7. As always, the times, performers, and stages are subject to change.
The Night of Joy Lineup:
Friday, September 6
Cinderella Castle Forecourt Stage

Night of Joy Lineup Features Steven Curtis Chapman and Michael W. Smith

Next month during the 31st Night of Joy at the Walt Disney World Resort, two legends of Contemporary Christian music will share the stage. Steven Curtis Chapman and Michael W. Smith are set to perform individual sets and then they will share the spotlight and perform together.
Other artists scheduled for the event on September 6-7 include MercyMe – returning for their sixth consecutive Night of Joy – and 2012 Grammy nominee TobyMac, Francesca Battistelli, Skillet, and Newboys.

Candlelight Processional Kicks Off This Evening at Epcot

It promises to be a star-studded celebration of Christmas at Walt Disney World, as Epcot begins celebrating the holiday this evening with its annual Candlelight Processional.
The hugely popular Christmas tradition features a celebrity narrator retelling the traditional story of Christmas.  Intermingled with favorite Christmas carols performed by a 50-piece orchestra and a mass choir, the celebration culminates in a live “Christmas tree” made up of the singers themselves.
