The New York Red Bulls and Toronto FC Join Walt Disney World Pro Soccer Classic Field

Two more teams have been added to the roster for the Walt Disney World Pro Soccer Classic.

The New York Red Bulls and the Toronto FC join Sporting KC, Philadelphia Union, Columbus Crew, Montreal Impact, and Orlando City soccer clubs for the event.

The Red Bulls won the event in 2010 and the Toronto FC are regular participants in the event. Last year the Red Bulls won their first MLS Supporters’ Shield – which is given to the team with the leagues’ most regular season points.

This marks the fifth year for the Disney Pro Soccer Classic. The event is designed to boost interest in soccer throughout Central Florida and establish the area as a training and competition destination.

The teams participating in this year’s Pro Soccer Classic begin arriving at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on February 19 for three weeks of pre-season training camp and competition. The Disney Pro Soccer Classic title game is played March 1. For more information on the Pro Soccer Classic visit www.espnwwos.com/prosoccerclassic.
