Two Disney offerings are still in the top 5 at the box office this weekend. Reuters is reporting that “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” starring Nicholas Cage was number four and “Toy Story 3” from Pixar is still number five.
“The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” is considered a bit of a lackluster offering, having grossed only $42 million after 12 days, while “Toy Story 3” continues to be an obvious success. The Pixar film has grossed over $375 million and has brought in over $350 million overseas. “Inception,” “Salt” and “Despicable Me” were the other members of the top five this weekend.
