Walt Disney World’s “Art of Animation” Resort Set to Open in Summer 2012

Get ready to step into the colorful world of Disney animation, a new “Value” class resort is coming to Walt Disney World & it’s sure to please Disney fans that have a love for the stories that make Disney famous. Disney’s “Art of Animation” Resort is set to open its doors with a vast palette of fun in summer of 2012; drawing inspiration from “The Lion King,” “The Little Mermaid” and Disney·Pixar’s “Finding Nemo” and “Cars” films.

Expect playful courtyards, colorful room interiors, and whimsical details in this resort planned to include 864 rooms and 1,120 family suites. Suites are designed to give guests extra space & amenities including 2 separate bathrooms, a master bedroom, and 3 separate sleeping areas within the living space.

Disney’s “Art of Animation” Resort is being built near Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, booking dates have not been announced yet. Keep an eye on Disney’s official site for more information.
