Central Florida couple Mickey and Minnie Baus (rhymes with “mouse”) are a pair of Disney fanatics who famously decorate their yard with Disney Halloween decor every year.
In addition to their yard display, which features inflatables, handmade Disney decorations and lots more, Mickey and Minnie also host an annual Halloween costume party. This year, they dressed up as the ultimate Disney tourists but took a few minutes away from the party to film a video of their amazing display.

On November 6 and 7, 2012, portions of Disneyland park will be walled off in order for a film crew to work on Disney’s upcoming flick Saving Mr. Banks. The film follows the efforts of Walt Disney as he tries to persuade author P.L. Travers to make a movie based on her character Mary Poppins. Tom Hanks plays Walt Disney, while Emma Thompson will star as P.L. Travers.

Next month, guests can immerse themselves in the wonders of Fantasyland with new artwork created by Walt Disney Imagineers and Disney-inspired artists.
The Disney Gallery on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland Park will feature a variety of Fantasyland-inspired art from Imagineers Brian Crosby, Jim Crouch and Jeremy Fulton. Artwork will also be available from artists Steve Adams, Jody Daily, Jeff Granito, Katie Kelly, Maggie Parr, Jimmy Pickering, George Scribner, Darren Wilson and Yakovetic.
The artwork will be available in a variety of formats, including original artwork, deluxe prints and limited edition works. …

The Walt Disney Company has announced its acquisition of George Lucas’ Film Production Company, Lucasfilm Ltd. The deal is valued at approximately $4 billion.
Regarding the transaction, Disney Chairman and CEO Robert Iger made this statement:

On Monday, Disney XD announced their special programming block for the month of November.
Dubbed “Pranksgiving,” the network will premiere two new hidden-camera prank series – Just Kidding and Code 9. Just Kidding will be hosted by YouTube sensation Zach Fox, and six new episodes will air at 7 p.m. from November 19 to November 24. Each episode, Fox will pull pranks on unsuspecting bystanders.
In Code 9, which will premiere at 7:30 p.m. on November 19, kids will pull pranks on their parents with the help of a special effects team. …
The Disney Fantasy sustained some damage due to Hurricane Sandy, reports have announced. While the terrified passengers who were aboard the ship during its tumultuous journey took to the internet to write about their experiences, Disney Cruise Line downplays the damage.
Rebecca Peddie, manager of public affairs for Disney Destinations, said:
Overall, the ship is fine and is currently out sailing a seven-night Western Caribbean voyage. We had minor damage involving some cracked windows and some furniture damage that we have addressed.

Earlier this year, we shared with you that Earl of Sandwich would be coming to the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort. While the sandwich chain already has locations in Walt Disney World and Disneyland Paris, this will be the first Earl of Sandwich in California.
Now, Disney has announced the official grand opening date for the restaurant: November 2, 2012. Construction on the eatery is almost complete, and guests will soon be able to sample some of the sandwiches and salads the chain is known for.

Epcot’s Test Track – Presented by Chevrolet will be celebrating a construction milestone this week – unveiling its new exterior for guests to check out.
Previously, the attraction’s color scheme was a yellow and black checkerboard pattern. Now, the new exterior features a sleek, blue design with smaller icons guests will notice throughout the attraction. The new marquee for the ride also features an automotive-inspired design.
Test Track will officially reopen December 6, 2012.
