Chase Cardholder VIP Lounge Returns to Epcot International Food and Wine Festival

For a second year in a row, the Chase Cardholder VIP Lounge returns to the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival.
This year’s lounge is located on the third floor of the American Adventure pavilion building, which can be accessed using the elevator between the gift shop and the attraction.
Chase cardholders need only to show their Chase Card (debit or credit) to be granted access to the lounge.

Chalk Art Festival Comes to Downtown Disney for Limited Time Magic Event

The leaves aren't the only thing changing color. Next weekend the sidewalks of Downtown Disney will be full of color, as the next Limited Time Magic event brings 3-D chalk art to the Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland.
The Downtown Disney Chalk Art Festival is happening at the Downtown Disney Resort from October 4-6. Guests will have a chance to walk around the Downtown Disney District and view the chalk art and meet the artists.

Chef Featured on Epcot International Food and Wine Festival Merchandise Gets a Name

Today is the official start of the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival and in addition to the delicious food, guests can also feast their eyes on some incredible merchandise.
The festival artwork features a bumbling chef who attempting to balance a tipsy glass of wine – and if you look closely you’ll see Remy from Disney/Pixar’s Ratatouille in the chef’s hat.

In Celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month Disney Interactive Launches New Spanish Language Entertainment Portal ¡Ajá!

Disney Interactive is celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month with the recent launch of the new Disney ¡Ajá! portal that gives users direct access to Spanish-language content on Disney.com for the first time.
Disney ¡Ajá! includes games, activities, videos, and full-length episodes of Disney shows, in addition to original series from Disney Latin America and Disney Spain. Families can access the site on their tablet and smartphone.
Kids are able to interact with their favorite Disney characters using Disney ¡Ajá! through watching complete Spanish-language episodes from Disney Junior, Disney Channel, and Disney XD. …

The Walt Disney Company and Jerry Bruckheimer Part Ways, Ending a 20 Year Partnership

Last week the Walt Disney Company announced that after more than two decades of working together it was severing ties with producer Jerry Bruckheimer.

The news comes a few months after the more-than-dismal and very costly theatrical release of The Lone Ranger, which Bruckheimer produced. The poor box office receipts from that film will likely cost Disney nearly $190 million.
The separation also came about a week after Disney announced that the fifth installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise was put on hold.

New Disability Access Service Card Program Launching October 9 at Disney Parks

Beginning next month, Disney is introducing the Disability Access Service Card (DASC) at its parks in the US. These cards will replace the current Guest Assistance Card program currently in use at the Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort.
In recent months the Guest Assistance Card has come under fire when it was reported that some guests were abusing the system. The current Guest Assistance Card system allows disabled guests to sometimes skip the attraction queue and sometimes get back door access to the rides.
