The Emmy and Annie Award-winning comedic shorts feature Mickey Mouse and his friends as they experience silly situations, and heartfelt moment. The cartoon shorts debuted on Disney Channel in June 2013 and currently air in 160 countries in 33 languages.

The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is going strong and fans can still pick up commemorative merchandise at kiosks around the park. Also, through April 6 Fairy Houses are being built by artists on the promenade around World Showcase.

With a goal of bringing more online content to consumers across platforms, The Walt Disney Company has agreed to acquire Maker Studios, the leading network of online video content on YouTube.
As part of the purchase, Maker Studios shareholders will receive a performance-linked earn-out of nearly $450 million if performance targets are met.
The acquisition of Maker Studios will help Disney bring more content to its customers, as Maker has more than 55,000 channels, 380 million subscribers, and 5.5 billion views per month on YouTube.

A new, state-of-the-art laundry facility is under construction at the Walt Disney World Resort.
The facility is being built to support the expansion of resort hotel rooms and to accommodate the adjustments in the kind of lines being used at the hotels.
The new facility is located near Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and will create 400 new jobs at Walt Disney World. These jobs include 200 construction-related jobs and 200 cast member positions including linen handlers, maintenance, and managers.

Eighty-seven Central Florida nonprofits are the recipients of $3.8 million in Disney grants.
The donations to the nonprofits will impact the lives of more than 85,000 children in Central Florida.
The grants were announced at the Orlando Science Center where the guests included Mickey Mouse, Walt Disney World Resort President George A. Kalogridis, and Walt Disney World Resort Director of Community Relations Nancy Gidusko.

The inaugural Disney Princess Cup event is planned for this October 10-12 at the ESPN Wide World of Sport Complex at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Other summer 2015 itineraries include sailings from Copenhagen, Denmark to St. Petersburg, Russia, and cruises to the Mediterranean, Alaska, Caribbean, and Bahamas.

The Walt Disney Company has announced that ABC News President Ben Sherwood will replace Anne Sweeney as co-chairman, Disney Media Networks and president of the Disney/ABC Television Group.
