Toy Story Hotel Announced for Tokyo Disney Resort

A new Toy Story-themed hotel has been announced for the Tokyo Disney Resort.
The hotel was announced by the Oriental Land Co. Ltd., and will open to guests in the fiscal year 2021 (which runs from April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022).
The Toy Story hotel will feature 600 rooms and “everything will look like it is made of toys.” And, guests rooms will look like Andy’s bedroom from the films.

Reservations Are Open for Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

Reservations are now available for stays beginning July 9, 2019 at the Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.
The new tower is the biggest part of the transformation of the moderate resort, which was inspired by “by the adventurous spirit of great Spanish explorers and historic innovative Spanish artists, writers and architects,” according to Disney.
Other new experiences at the hotel include the Three Bridges Bar & Grill will be located on an island in the middle of Lago Dorado and Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood, the new rooftop …

New Details Announced for the Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs

The new, 15-story Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is set to open in July 2019, and Disney recently released more details about the tower.
The tower will serve as the new main entrance for Coronado Springs, and will be home to more than 500 new rooms.
A themed table service restaurant will be located at the top of the tower, giving guests a rooftop view of Disney World.
Guests can start making reservations for the Gran Destino Tower beginning November 27. The tower is slated to open in July 2019.

New Ticket Deal Announced for Early 2019 in Disneyland

Disneyland Resort has announced a limited-time ticket offer and hotel offer for dates in early 2019.
For a limited time, guests can visit a Disneyland theme park for $70 per day with the purchase of a three-day, one park per day ticket.
The offer also includes one Magic Morning, an early morning admission option to Disneyland park, on select mornings.
This ticket offer is available for online purchase today through May 18. The tickets can be used for visits January 7 through May 23, 2019 (blockout dates of Apr. 14-22 apply).

Check Out the New Disney Riviera Resort at Disney World

Work is continuing on the new Disney Riviera Resort at Disney World and Disney announced more details about the property last weekend.
The proposed 15th Disney Vacation Club property is slated to open in the fall of 2019 and was inspired by Walt Disney’s travels in Europe’s Mediterranean coastline.
Guests at the hotel will be able to enjoy a great view of the fireworks and will have access to the Disney Skyliner which being built at the adjacent Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort.

Disney Announces Star Wars News, Resort Hotel Updates, and More at Destination D

Over the weekend Disney hosted the D23 Destination D event and announced a slate of new experiences, attraction updates, and more.
When Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens next year at Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios guests will be able to experience two new attractions: Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.

More Details Announced for the New Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

Disney has announced more details about the new 15-story tower being built at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, including the name.
The new tower is the Gran Destino Tower and it is slated to open in July 2019.
The tower will feature 545 new guest rooms, including 50 suites. The two-story lobby will be the new entrance point for the hotel.
And, a new rooftop table service restaurant is also planned for the tower.

Disney Skyliner to Start Operations in the Fall of 2019

The Disney Skyliner is set to begin operations in the fall of 2019.
The Skyliner will transport guests between Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Caribbean Beach Resort, Pop Century, Art of Animation, and Disney’s Riviera Hotel.
The Disney Skyliner will also give guests a whole new view of Walt Disney World with great photo opportunities and new views of World Showcase at Epcot.
Workers have installed the last support tower for the Skyliner system and are starting to thread the cable for the Sklyiner.

Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels Announce Holiday Rate Sale

If you’re making plans to visit the Walt Disney World Resort this holiday season, the Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels are having a room rate sale.
The holiday sale is good for stays from November 1, 2018 through January 15, 2019.

Disney Shares Update on the Disney Skyliner System

Work continues to progress on the new Disney Skyliner transportation system at the Walt Disney World Resort, and recently Disney shared an update with guests.
The Skyliner will connect two theme parks – Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios – and four hotels, Pop Century, Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach Resort, and the Disney Riviera Hotel.
The stations for the Skyliner will be designed to fit into the area where they are located at the hotels and theme parks.
