New Shows, Parties, Characters, and More Coming to Disney World in 2019

Next year is going to be full of fun and surprises at the Walt Disney World Resort with new attractions, new shows, and new characters coming to the theme parks.
At the Magic Kingdom guests will have a chance to see Mickey and Minnie starting January 18 when Mickey & Minnie’s Surprise Celebration kicks off.
This fun celebration will include the new “Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party,” special musical moments from the Dapper Dans through September 30, and more.

Dream Big, Princess Movie Marathon and More at Disney Springs

This fall guests can celebrate their favorite Disney Princesses at Disney Spring with a movie marathon and more.
The Dream Big, Princess Movie Marathon runs from September 14 through October 18 at the AMC Disney Springs 24 Dine-In Theater.

New Storybook Dining Coming to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

Artist Point – the Signature Dining restaurant at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge – will be transformed into a new character dining experience this winter.
The new Storybook Dining at Artist Point will feature Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy, and even an appearance from the Evil Queen.
Guests will “venture into an Enchanted Forest-like” setting inspired by Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
The menu will be a prix fixe menu featuring starters, a plated entree, and “sweet spells” for dessert.
Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White is slated to begin this winter.

Ticket Prices and More Announced for D23 Expo 2019

The D23 Expo 2019 is scheduled for August 23-25, 2019 at the Anaheim Convention Center and today we have details on the ticket prices and more.
The 2019 Expo is the sixth biennial event that celebrates everything Disney from the theme parks to movies and beyond.
Tickets for the D23 Expo 2019 go on sale August 23 and discounted single-day and multi-day tickets for D23 Expo 2019 will be available exclusively to D23 Gold Members.

Día de los Muertos Returns to the Disneyland Resort this Fall

Guests visiting the Disneyland Resort this fall can once again experience the spirit of Día de los Muertos.
At Disney California Adventure the animated film Coco is at the heart of the Plaza de la Familia, a family-friendly experience in Paradise Gardens. Guests can share memories at the at the interactive Memory Wall, take a photo at the Mexican Árbol de la Vida (Tree of Life) photo location, and more.

Disney Gives Preview of Finisher Medals for the Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend Races

Disney has given guests a sneak peek at the finisher medals for the 2018 Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend races.
The medals all feature popular Disney Chefs, which is fitting since the race takes place during the 2018 Epcot Food and Wine Festival.
The finisher medal for the half marathon features Chef Mickey (‘natch), the Disney Fall Fest 5K medal features Chef Tony from Lady and the Tramp, and the Wine and Dine 10K medal features Chef Louis and Sebastian from Disney’s The Little Mermaid.

Disney Junior’s Vampirina Coming to Disneyland and Disney World This Fall

Disney Junior star Vampirina is coming to Disneyland and Walt Disney World this fall just in time for Halloween!
At Disneyland guests can meet Vampirina at Disney California Adventure starting September 7.
She’ll also be part of the Frightfully Fun Parade at Mickey’s Halloween Party in Disneyland Park on select nights from September 19 through October 31.

Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff Confectinery Now Open on Pixar Pier

Guests visiting Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure have a new spot to satisfy their sweet tooth! Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff Confectionery is now open!
The new confectionery is inspired by Bing Bong, the fluffy pink imaginary friend from Inside Out.
Inside the store guests will find a sweets case full of Caramel Apples, Cake Pops, Mickey Krispy Treats, Marshmallow Wands, and more.
Other sweets include candies, salt water taffy, bagged candies, and other goodies.

Disney Pixar Pals Celebrating Summer at Hong Kong Disneyland

The Disney Pixar Pals – and other popular characters – are celebrating summer at Hong Kong Disneyland.
Guests will find Mr. and Mrs. Incredible from The Incredibles, Woody and Buzz from Toy Story, Joy and Sadness from Inside Out, and Russell and Dug from Up in the Pixar Water Play Street Parade.

New ‘Incredibles’ Float Joining Paint the Night Parade at Pixar Fest

A new float featuring the Incredibles is joining the Paint the Night Parade for Pixar Fest.
The float will be added to the parade starting June 23 and features the Parr family and their friend Frozone.
The new float connects the stories from Incredibles and Incredibles 2, “portraying the scene that shows the Parr family banding together against the supervillain known as “The Underminer.”
On the float Violet is surrounded by a force field, and “Dash’s super-human speed is captured through an innovative system of 64 individually lit frames,” according to Disney.
