Several new dining events have been announced for Disney World and Disneyland.
Guests at Disneyland will soon be able to enjoy the Mickey’s Soundsational Parade Dining Package at the Plaza Inn.
The dining package includes a midday meal at the Plaza Inn plus a voucher for reserved viewing for the parade.
Meal choices include: Pork Chop with traditional BBQ sauce, Penne Pasta topped with marinara sauce and Parmesan cheese, or Apple Salad with green apples, blue cheese, chopped walnuts, and dried cranberries tossed in a sweet apple vinaigrette for adults; and Chicken Tenders …

Disneyland Resort is getting ready to commemorate 90 years of Mickey and Minnie with the new ‘Get Your Ears On: A Mickey and Minnie Celebration’ in 2019.
This new event will celebration Mickey and Minnie with new entertainment and decor at Disneyland Park, along with limited-time food and beverages.
The celebration will include:

Mickey’s Magic Mix, a new nighttime spectacular at Disneyland featuring state-of-the-art projections, lighting and lasers that will transform Main Street U.S.A., Rivers of America, and it’s a small world into “a colorful, dazzling array of sights and sounds.”

Over the weekend Disney hosted the D23 Destination D event and announced a slate of new experiences, attraction updates, and more.
When Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens next year at Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios guests will be able to experience two new attractions: Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.

Two popular attractions at Disneyland are closed for refurbishment but are scheduled to reopen soon.
The Alice in Wonderland attraction has been closed since March of this year, but Disney is reporting that the ride will reopen on July 4.
Walt Disney Imagineering is reporting that the refurbishment has included updates to the exterior of the attraction in addition to work on the inside and routine maintenance.
The Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage has been closed since earlier this year also, but is scheduled to reopen on September 27.

If you plan on celebrating July 4 at the Disneyland Resort, you’re in luck. The resort has plenty of special events and a fireworks spectacular to help you celebrate Independence Day in a fun and exciting way.
At Disney California Adventure, there will be a special event prior to each “World of Color” showing. Paradise Pier will light up with a nighttime spectacular designed to honor and celebrate our nation’s independence.
At Disneyland Park, “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” will also celebrate our freedom with fireworks …

Members of Disneyland’s Annual Passholder program can RSVP now for a special Annual Passholder Event that will be held at Disneyland park. On Wednesday, October 12 or Monday, October 17, annual passholders with a valid RSVP can attend a private showing of Mickey’s Soundsational Parade from 8 p.m. until midnight.
The event will also include up close and personal looks at the different floats, as well as meet-and-greet photo opportunities with various Disney characters. Additionally, select stores, restaurants and attractions will be open in Tomorrowland, Fantasyland and Main Street, U.S.A.

Visitors to Disneyland Park last Friday were treated to an impromptu sneak peek of the upcoming parade, Mickey’s Soundsational Parade, which will debut May 27.
Crews were actually taping a commercial to advertise the parade, scheduled to replace the previous procession Celebrate, which ended in November. While crews were filming some of the parade footage for their commercial, a few lucky guests were able to glimpse a preview of what they can expect when the parade debuts next month.

Patient guests who have endured all of the refurbishment and renovation at Disneyland Resort are in for many treats this summer, as the Parks announced three important opening dates today.
To kickoff Memorial Day weekend in a big way, Mickey’s Soundsational Parade is set to debut on Friday, May 27 at Disneyland Park.  The new parade will include bold percussion and rhythms, sure to get everyone dancing in the streets.  Billed as “an explosive music festival,” the celebration will feature live musicians and lots of opportunities for guest interaction.
