Disney Reaches 100 Million Facebook Fans

5 December 2010 No Comment

Happy Birthday, Walt!  On what would have been the famous founder’s 109th birthday, Disney announced that it had reached the 100,000,000 million fan mark on its network of Facebook pages.

There are more than 200 official Facebook pages, which encompass everything from the company’s theme parks – both Disneyland and Walt Disney World have their own pages – to favorite characters, like Dory from “Finding Nemo,” to divisions, like Disney Pixar.  Each page features specific content and news, as well as original video and links to other official pages.

On this special day, we congratulate Disney for reaching this important milestone and for remaining relevant and vibrant in this ever-changing world.  It’s nice to know that a beloved company celebrates heritage while looking to the future.  Nothing would make Mr. Disney more proud.
