Disney & Target Team Up to Launch New ‘Tween’ Clothing Line

Just in time for back to school shopping, Target will be filling the racks of its junior’s department with a new clothing line marketed to tween girls. “D-Signed” will be available on August 1st, both in stores and on Target.com; featuring designs inspired by the style of young Disney Channel characters. Items focusing on Sonny Munroe, played by Demi Lovato, of the popular “Sonny With a Chance” sitcom are expected to be big sellers.

Trendy attire and accessories for girls sizes 4 to 16, price-ranged from $4.99 – $19.99, make it an affordable & well-received option for both tween girls and their parents. Embellished graphic tees, skirts, dresses, pants, shorts, fashion tops and jackets, headbands, necklaces and bags will be featured in the initial collection. Market Watch is reporting that a second installment of the “D-Signed” collection will be available just in time for the holidays & expanded to include the popular Alex Russo character, played by Selena Gomez, on “The Wizards of Waverly Place.”
