Mickey Mouse’s Face Begins to Take Shape on New “Disney Dream” Ship

The Disney Cruise Line is still 145 days away from the maiden voyage of its latest gem, the “Disney Dream,” into their fleet of luxuriously fun ships. We’ve been following the construction and design progress of the “Dream” since the beginning and some really exciting things are starting to take shape! Today, the Disney Parks Blog released a photo showing the foundation to a very popular element aboard the Disney cruise ships – a Mickey Mouse pool!

Both the “Disney Magic” and “Disney Wonder” already have a pool shaped like the iconic mouse & now the new “Dream” ship will follow suit with its own children’s version. Along with the pool being modeled after the silhouette of Mickey Mouse an oversized version of Mickey’s hand will support a yellow winding slide.
