Star Sighting: Jodie Sweetin Celebrates 30th Birthday at Disneyland Resort

Best known for her role as Stephanie Tanner on Full House, Jodie Sweetin celebrated her 30th birthday by spending a fun filled day at Disneyland.
While her birthday party was held the night before, Sweetin celebrated the day of by heading to the park with her boyfriend, Morty Coyle and daughter Zoie from a previous relationship.
At Disney’s California Adventure, she even ran into Full House co-star John Stamos, where the two posed for the camera and looked like they were having a great time.

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort will debut this year, and in this exclusive video clip you will be able to see how Walt Disney Imagineers are developing iconic Disney characters into larger-than-life, interactive statues that will be seen throughout the courtyards of the resort.

Special Disneyland Resort Ticket Offer Available Now

Southern California residents can take advantage of a special Disneyland Resort ticket offer, which will enable guests to purchase a 2-day park ticket for $99, with their choice of Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure. Guests can visit one park both days, or decide to visit each park on a separate day.

Jake from ‘Jake and the Never Land Pirates’ Coming to Disney Parks

Fans of Disney Junior’s Jake and the Never Land Pirates are in for a treat! Jake, the title character from the popular show, will start appearing at Disney parks this month.
Yesterday, Jake appeared at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where he will make regular appearances with Handy Manny, Special Agent Oso, and June from Little Einsteins at the Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine at Hollywood & Vine. Former Disney CEO to Speak at a Conference in Anaheim

This Saturday, former chairman and CEO of The Walt Disney Co. Michael Eisner will speak at the National Association of Realtors conference about his experiences running an innovative and constantly growing company, as well as what it takes to do so.

John Lasseter to Get Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Disney/Pixar’s Chief Creative Officer John Lasseter will be getting his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The director of Toy Story and Cars will be honored during a special ceremony in front of the El Capitan Theatre November 1 at 11:30 a.m., where he will receive his star and become star number 2,453 on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Currently, Lasseter is overseeing the creation of Cars Land, an addition to Disney’s California Adventure theme park set to debut next summer. He also directed this year’s Cars 2.

Disneyland Resort Announces Trio of Opening Dates for Summer Season

Patient guests who have endured all of the refurbishment and renovation at Disneyland Resort are in for many treats this summer, as the Parks announced three important opening dates today.
To kickoff Memorial Day weekend in a big way, Mickey’s Soundsational Parade is set to debut on Friday, May 27 at Disneyland Park.  The new parade will include bold percussion and rhythms, sure to get everyone dancing in the streets.  Billed as “an explosive music festival,” the celebration will feature live musicians and lots of opportunities for guest interaction.

Disney’s California Adventure to Hold ‘Celebrate Gospel’ Event This Saturday

Fans of gospel music should head to Disney’s California Adventure this weekend for a day full of inspirational music by talented local groups.  “Celebrate Gospel” will take place this Saturday, and will feature 15 local gospel choirs from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Here’s a run down of the scheduled acts and times of their performances:

‘Disney Junior-Live on Stage!’ to Premiere in March at Disneyland, Walt Disney World

Guests of Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World will soon have the chance to see some of their favorite Disney Junior characters live, as “Disney Junior – Live on Stage!” debuts at both resorts next month.
