Disney/Pixar Films Returning to Big Screen for Memorial Day Weekend

Several Disney/Pixar films will be returning to the big screen Memorial Day weekend only at AMC Theatres.
Ratatouille, Up, WALL-E, and Toy Story 3 will play in AMC Theatres across the globe from May 25-May 28, 2012. Film-goers will be able to watch the film as well as a classic Pixar short and a sneak peek at the upcoming Brave.

IMAX Poster Released for Disney’s ‘John Carter’

Disney’s upcoming film John Carter, based on a series by Edgar Rice Burroughs, now has its own IMAX 3D poster. The official poster features a still shot from the film’s trailer, and definitely depicts one of the most action-packed scenes in the film.

Disney Universe, the highly anticipated release from Disney Interactive Studios that hit stores October 25, now has a playable demo available for free on Xbox Live and Playstation Network.

Disney Universe Adding Aladdin’s ‘Agrabah’

The highly anticipated video game Disney Universe, from Disney Interactive, has unveiled the sixth world that players will be able to explore – the magical Agrabah from Disney’s Aladdin. Agrabah is the sixth environment to be added to the game, and joins the recently announced Pirates of the Caribbean land, WALL-E, Alice in Wonderland, The Lion King and Monsters, Inc.

‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ World Coming to ‘Disney Universe’

Disney Interactive recently revealed that the anticipated video game Disney Universe will feature a Pirates of the Caribbean world for players to explore. The video game will also allow players to explore different worlds and interact with various characters from Disney and Disney/Pixar films including WALL-E, Monsters Inc., Alice in Wonderland and The Lion King.

‘Toy Story 3’ Director Auctions Pixar Collectibles to Help Japanese Earthquake Relief

Lee Unkrich, director of Toy Story 3 has put up a number of Pixar collectibles on eBay to help with the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund. The items up for auction are quite varied, but are all Pixar-related memorabilia he has collected over the years.
One particular piece, such as this limited edition print from Disney/Pixar’s Up, is currently up for auction. The print, which was given to Pixar employees after the film was made, only had 1200 copies ever created. This particular print is from Unkrich’s own personal collection.

Disney Pixar Characters to Grace New Postage Stamps

Look for your favorite Disney Pixar to grace United States Postage Stamps next year!  Soon, you’ll be able to send your snail mail graced with characters from “Cars,” “Ratatouille,” “Toy Story,” “Up,” and “Wall-E.” 
The stamps are part of a commemorative collector’s series, and will go on sale on August, 19.  Doubly cool:  they will be “Forever” stamps, which means that they will be valid regardless of how much postage increases in the future.
