The Walt Disney Company Commits $2.5 Million to Hurricane Irma Relief Efforts

wd company logoThe Walt Disney Company has announced it will donate $2.5 million in aid funds to the Hurricane Irma relief efforts.

The funds will go to relief organizations including the American Red Cross, UNICEF, Save the Children, and others.

Eligible Disney employee donations to organizations involved in Hurricane Irma relief will be matched dollar for dollar by the Disney Employee Matching Gifts: A Program of The Walt Disney Company Foundation.

The Company also matched employee donations for Hurricane Harvey relief, and to date has raised nearly $16 million for Harvey relief.

Disney will also be donating goods and services in areas affected by Hurricane Irma.
