Wal Mart Offers Free Digital Copy of Toy Story 3

3 November 2010 No Comment

Wal Mart is making sure that fans who buy their copy of  “Toy Story 3″ in their stores have plenty of viewing options.

When fans of the Disney-Pixar animated hit purchase the three disc special edition from Wal Mart, they will also receive a free digital copy of the film via Vudu, a movie-streaming service, the companies announced yesterday.

The move represents a great opportunity for consumer and the retail giant alike: the consumer will benefit from having the Blu Ray, plus a DVD copy for their portable device, as well as the ability to stream the movie anywhere at anytime, with the aide of an internet-connected computer, should all discs be left at home. Wal Mart benefits from the promotion of Vudu, which it bought earlier this year.
