We’ve been looking forward to seeing Ian McShane in action as Blackbeard in the upcoming “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,” so thanks to Blue Sky Disney for the heads up that this teaser poster is out!
Looks like the notorious pirate Blackbeard, known for his cunning, will be a formidable foe for our pirate friends. Should we take as foreshadowing that Blackbeard is holding the skull that uncannily resembles Captain Jack?
The Blackbeard poster joins previously released art featuring the film’s other stars – Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, and Geoffrey Rush as Captain Jack, Angelica, and Captain Barbossa, respectively.
Pirates opens everywhere May 20, when we shall be in the front seat.
