Disneyland Half Marathon Finishers Will Receive Newly-Designed Medal

After much speculation amongst runners, Disney recently released their new design for this year’s Disneyland Half Marathon medal. The race, which takes place over Labor Day Weekend on Sunday, September 4, is sure to be an exciting accomplishment for the runners who make it to the end of the 13.1 mile-long course, and this new medal is the perfect reward. The medal has been newly designed, and is noticeably different from those in past years.

On their way to the finish line, the approximately 15,000 runners in the Disneyland Half Marathon will travel through Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, and the Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Unfortunately, the half marathon is currently sold out for individual race registrations, although some travel and charity groups may still be able to register for the event. These groups should visit runDisney.com for more information. Runners who are unable to make this race shouldn’t fret though, as there will be more opportunities for runners to earn cool new medals in the future. Stay tuned for more information on future runDisney events!
