Earlier this week the Disney Parks were celebrating National Popcorn Day (yes, it’s a “holiday”) and announced new collectible popcorn buckets.
Guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will soon be able to purchase a new lotus popcorn bucket that also lights up, turning into a luminary.
This lotus popcorn bucket won’t be available until “later this year” likely in conjunction with the opening of the Rivers of Light nighttime show later this spring. The show will feature lanterns and some of the concept art has features lotus blossoms.
At Disneyland, guests can already purchase the updated “second edition” of the Diamond Celebration 60th anniversary popcorn bucket. The balloon-shaped bucket is available in red, blue, and purple and now features the Disneyland banner.
