New Disney Vacation Club Board Game, “Getaway Your Way,” Offers Big Fun and Big Prize

Editor’s Note: Today we welcome guest writer Cari Keebaugh  back with another great story!

Disney has a lot of great board games out there: Monopoly, Clue, Pictionary, and Trouble, to name a few. While these games are fun to play and might offer a quick Disney fix between vacations, winning a Disney board game doesn’t mean winning a trip to Disney.

Until now.

For a limited time, you can play Disney’s “Getaway Your Way” board game online for a chance to win a three-year Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Sample Membership!

After you register at www.disney.com/disneyvacationclub, players are introduced to the game by playing the board “Safari Adventures,” which is reminiscent of the four savannas at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. The goal in each (wonderfully detailed and graphically gorgeous) board is to race the Disney villain to the end of the game; in Safari Adventures, of course, you’re racing against Scar. Once you play through the introductory Safari board, you can choose to play two of the four remaining boards:

“Majestic Woodlands” (you race against the Evil Queen through a landscape featuring The Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa),

“Magical Theme Parks” (a race with Maleficent through The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Hotel & Spa and Bay Lake Tower at the Contemporary Resort),

“Seaside Splendors” (fighting to beat Captain Hook to the end of the trail through Disney’s Vero Beach Resort and Aulani Club Villas), and

“World of Discoveries” (hoofing it past Hades on a board inspired by Adventures by Disney and Disney Cruise Lines).

Although a cliche, the old adage “you have to play to win” does apply here. The game will only run until January 31, 2013. For further rules and/or to play, visit www.disney.com/disneyvacationclub.

On your mark, get set…GO!
