With what has been termed an ongoing “dress rehearsal” firmly underway, it may seem a little superfluous, but Walt Disney World is offering its annual passholders special access to Fantasyland during a series of New Fantasyland Previews for Passholders.
Originally, passholder previews were slated to be held over two weekends in November, but registration for the events were plagued by technical difficulties, which left many frustrated passholders complaining. When passholders took to airing their grievances in public forums like Facebook and Twitter, Disney reacted by opening up 11 additional dates for passholders to gain exclusive access to the next phase of Fantasyland to open.
The dates for the latest round of passholder previews are November 6-9 and 12-18, 2012, with multiple time slots throughout each day. The area is slated to soft-open on November 19 to the general public, with a grand opening celebration to be held on Thursday, December 6. New attractions will include Belle’s Village, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Gaston’s Tavern, Be Our Guest Restaurant, Ariel’s Grotto, and Under the Sea: Journey of The Little Mermaid.
