Star Wars Weekends start next Friday, May 15, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and there’s an all-new dining experience coming this year.
The Rebel Hangar: A Star Wars Lounge Experience was just announced by Disney and reservations are open now!
This area was “once a known hangout of Rebel pilots, aliens, and smugglers” and guests will have a chance to dine on a variety of food and beverages including: Fruit and Cheese Sabers, Ensalada Naboo, a Slider Sampler with “The Sith” and “The Jedi,” Thermal Detonators (spicy pork wings), Chips and Sith, Dark Fried Chicken and Darth Vader Waffles, and themed cupcakes.
The specialty drinks include the Rebel Red with Grey Goose Vodka, Chambord, sour mix, and grenadine; and the Tattoine Sunset with Stoli Vanilla Vodka, Parrot Bay Coconut Rum, pineapple juice and grenadine.
Guests can make Advance Dining Reservations now for The Rebel Hangar. Reservations are available for each weekend of Star Wars Weekends starting May 15 and ending June 14. The menu at the Hangar is a la carte and prices range from $5.49 to $16.99.
The Star Wars-themed cupcakes featuring Jabba the Hutt and Yoda will also be sold at the Trolley Car Café, Starring Rolls, Backlot Express, and the new Tusken Fridge Raiders in Darth’s Mall. Fans can find Darth Vader cupcakes at every quick service spot in the Studios.
