Disney magic comes to Seattle, Washington, this weekend for the second Pacific Northwest Mouse Meet. The brain child of a man who has been to Disneyland and Disney World over 100 times, the Mouse Meet is to be held at the Lynwood Convention Center.
Disney lovers making trek to Seattle, you’ll be able to take in a Pirates of the Caribbean exhibit, a Lego rendition of Disneyland’s Main Street, a car from Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, and the popular frozen Dole Whip dessert. A Disney pin swap is also planned.
In addition, Disney Imagineer Bob Gurr, who was the mind behind the Monorail and other favorite attractions, will be on hand as the meet’s keynote speaker. Disney historians Jeff Kurtti and David Lesjack are scheduled to be at the meet as well. Disney fans will also have the opportunity to meet and greet with Tinkerbell’s inspiration and original model, Margaret Kerry.
Though not officially affiliated with the Disney company, the Meet promises to bring a bit of Disney magic to those far away from the parks. This year’s meet is sold out, however visit the The Official Pacific Northwest Mouse Meet webiste for more details and to sign up for a newsletter on future events.
