As far as she’s concerned, Gomez wants to be in love – but she’s staying realistic about it, too. Of course, she does have Justin Bieber to keep her company for the time being! Says Selena:
When your heart is broken you want to hate everything. You want to say, ‘I don’t believe in love; this is ridiculous. It’s not supposed to hurt this much.’ But at this moment in my life, I’m at a point where I want to be in love, to give my all and fall head over heels. I’m eighteen. I’m not going to marry anybody I’m with, and I know that. The next heartbreak I have, I’m sure I’ll be like, ‘How can I live without this person?’ But I’m still trying to dive in and enjoy it.
As for her fans, Selena Gomez has always loved the support and acceptance she’s received; her recent single “Who Says” was essentially an anthem to her fans, and she told Teen Vogue that she actually started her clothing line because of a comment from a fan, who said she bought an outfit to mimic one Gomez had worn.
Despite having to say goodbye to her Wizards cast mates once the series wraps, Selena Gomez seems to be staying true to herself and her fans, and will undoubtedly enjoy a fruitful career even after leaving Disney.
