It might be summertime, but it’s also time to start thinking about the holiday season at Walt Disney World!
And to help in that endeavor, Disney has announced the list of narrators for this year’s Candlelight Processional at Epcot.
The Candlelight Processional is a retelling of the Christmas story by a celebrity narrator who is accompanied by a choir and orchestra playing traditional Christmas carols. It’s a highlight of the Holidays Around the World at Epcot each holiday season.
This year’s narrators are:

Happy day before Halloween! It’s been another busy week of Disney news so let’s dive right in and see what you might have missed.
Disney announced that the popular nighttime projection show ‘Celebrate the Magic’ is departing the Magic Kingdom on November 3. The show’s replacement, ‘Once Upon a Time’, is a new projection show and debuts on November 4.
Disney Cruise Line announced that all the DCL ships will soon feature the Royal Court Royal Tea. And, the sailing itineraries for early 2018 have been announced!

The 2016 Candlelight Processional starts November 25 at Epcot and this year’s list of narrators includes some fan favorites and a few new voices.
The holiday show tells the story of Christmas accompanied by a full orchestra and choirs.
This year’s narrators are:

It’s time to start planning your holiday visit to the Walt Disney World Resort and today you can start booking a Candlelight Processional dining package.
The Candlelight Processional is the popular holiday program that features the retelling of the Christmas story by a celebrity narrator, a choir, and a full orchestra.
This year the Candlelight Processional will be performed three times each night from November 25 until December 30 at the America Gardens Theater in Epcot.

The holidays start November 8 at the Magic Kingdom with the kick-off of this year’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
This holiday hard-ticket event runs for 20 select nights through December 18 and includes Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Holiday Wishes fireworks, and of course cookies and hot chocolate on Main Street.

Wow! What a week in Disney World news!
The biggest theme park news story last week has to be the selfie stick ban. The Walt Disney World Resort is banning the ubiquitous selfie sticks as of Tuesday, June 30 from all the Orlando theme parks. Bans will also be instituted at Disneyland, Hong Kong Disney, and Disneyland Paris.
So if you’re traveling to Walt Disney World for the Fourth of July leave the selfie sticks at home, but be ready to celebrate! Disney is planning some magically patriotic celebrations for July 3 …
