Flying Fish Scheduled to Open August 3 at Disney’s BoardWalk

Flying Fish – formerly the Flying Fish Café – is set to reopen on August 3 at Disney’s BoardWalk.
The refurbished signature dining location will feature a refurbished dining room and a new kitchen led by Chef Tim Majoras.
The menu at Flying Fish has also been revamped and will feature appetizers like Yellowfin Tuna, a Tour of the Coast, and Kurobuta Pork Belly. Entrees include wood-fired Carabinero Prawn and Cobia, Plancha-Seared Hokkadio Scallops, and Waygu Filet Mignon.

Flying Fish and AbracadaBar Lounge Opening this Fall at Disney’s BoardWalk

The Flying Fish Café at Disney’s BoardWalk is set to reopen this fall as the Flying Fish with a new design and an updated menu.
Chef Tim Majoras will lead the kitchen at Flying Fish and sustainable fish will be headlining the new menu.
When Flying Fish reopens new menu items will include a Fruits of the Sea appetizer featuring rock shrimp and clams from Florida, grouper cheek, and mussels.

New Marketplace Booths and ‘The Chew’ Coming to the 2015 Epcot Food & Wine Festival

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival and we have news about a couple new items for this year’s festival.
It was announced last week that the cast of ABC’s hit daytime show The Chew will be taping episodes on location at the festival on October 7, 8, and 9. Those episodes will air October 12-16. Tickets were available for the tapings but they are no longer available.
The cast of The Chew will also be hosting several special events.

Ring in the New Year with Fine Dining and Fireworks at the Walt Disney World Resort

If you’re spending New Year’s Eve at the Walt Disney World Resort there’s no shortage of ways to ring in 2014.
Guests visiting the Magic Kingdom on December 30 and 31 will be wowed by Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season at 9 p.m. each night. There will be a special presentation of Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks at 11:50 p.m. each night. And on New Year’s Eve there’s a special ticketed fireworks dinner and dessert party at the Tomorrowland Terrace.
