Winter Holidays at the Disneyland Resort Begin November 13

The calendar says September, but it’s not too early to start thinking about the winter holiday season.
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort starts November 13 this year and runs through January 6, 2015.
The Disneyland holiday celebration features special events at Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, and the Downtown Disney District.
In Disneyland Park guests will be able to enjoy Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle, the Haunted Mansion Holiday, it’s a small world Holiday, A Christmas Fantasy parade, and “Believe…in Holiday Magic” fireworks.

Halloween Time Returns to Disneyland Resort on September 12

Halloween Time is returning to the Disneyland Resort this Friday, September 12 and will run through October 31.
The celebration includes Halloween transformations of the Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain in addition to a special, separate ticket event Mickey’s Halloween Party.
Jack Skellington returns to the Haunted Mansion this year for the annual Haunted Mansion Holiday transformation in New Orleans Square. The transformation includes Halloween and Christmas overlays inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Halloween Time Returns to Disneyland Resort  on September 12 and Includes Mickey’s Halloween Party

This fall Halloween Time returns to the Disneyland Resort on September 12 and includes 14 nights of Mickey’s Halloween Party.
The spooky fun runs through October 31.
Disneyland’s Halloween Time includes the Haunted Mansion Holiday and Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy, in addition to Disney villains, costumed characters, and the Dia de los Meurtos celebration.
Mickey’s Halloween Party is a separate, after-hours ticketed event. The dates for the party are: September 26 and 30; and October 3, 6, 8, 10, 14, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27, 29, and 31.

‘World of Color – Winter Dreams’ Debuts at Disneyland Resort for the Holiday Season

The holidays just got a little merrier at the Disneyland Resort with this week’s debut of ‘World of Color – Winter Dreams’ hosted by Olaf the snowman from Disney’s upcoming animated film Frozen.
The new show combines new animation with classic winter scenes from Disney and Disney/Pixar films including Bambi, Fantasia, and Toy Story. ‘World of Color – Winter Dreams’ also features new music and special effects for the stage of water used in the show.

Disneyland Resort Celebrating Halloween Time Beginning September 13

Halloween comes to Disneyland a few weeks early this year, as Halloween Time returns on Friday, September 13.
The celebration includes Disney villains, Mickey Mouse and friends in their best Halloween costumes, a Dia de los Muertos celebration, and the after-hours, separate ticket event Mickey’s Halloween Party. Popular park attractions are also transformed for Halloween, including Haunted Mansion Holiday and Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy.

New Halloween Pins Coming to Disneyland Resort

This year, a new collection of pins inspired by Nightmare Before Christmas and “Haunted Mansion Holiday” will be coming to Disneyland Resort.

The limited edition pins are full of surprises, which will be revealed whenever you slide the open, open a hinge or make it spin. Additionally, there will be a lanyard medal and pin set and a mystery pin set.

Finally, there will be a special pin based on the gingerbread house from the ballroom scene of “Haunted Mansion Holiday.” This pin is sure to be a favorite among guests, so …

Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion Transforms for Halloween

The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland has debuted its annual transformation for Halloween, and once again Jack Skellington has taken over to create Haunted Mansion Holiday. Our friends at the Disney Parks Blog recently spoke with technical director Joe Peters, who gave them a tour as his crew completed the final touches on the 18-day transformation.

Spooky Halloween Fun at the Disneyland Resort

Starting earlier this week the Disneyland Resort has undergone a spooky makeover! Cobwebs are gleaming, pumpkins are perched atop Main Street roofs, Disney villains are warming up for their finest moment, and ghosts are moving into Space Mountain. “Mickey’s Halloween Party” is gearing up for its debut October 1st with special fireworks, dance parties, and lots of Halloween tricks & treats.
