As part of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Adventures by Disney has announced a special South Africa trip for November 2018.
The adult-only excursion will be hosted by Joe Rohde, Portfolio Creative Executive for Walt Disney Imagineering, and Dr. Mark Penning, Vice President, Animals, Science and Environment.
Guests on the trip can learn from Joe as he leads sketching sessions in South Africa.
And Mark – who is a native of South Africa – will share his expertise on South African natural history throughout the trip.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is celebrating its 20th anniversary this weekend and even more commemorative merchandise has been released.
The park is celebrating its anniversary from April 22 through May 5 with an extended Party for the Planet, and guests can pick up special “I Was There” merchandise during the celebration.
The merchandise collection includes tees for kids and adults, a hat, a tote bag, and collectible pins.
Annual Passholders will find two exclusive shirts – a Party for the Planet T-shirt and a tank top.

This year’s Party for the Planet is going to be bigger than ever thanks in part to the 20th anniversary celebration at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
One special event announced for the two-week long Party for the Planet is the new Tiffins Talks which will be held at Tiffins, the signature dining restaurant in the theme park.
The Tiffins Talks will feature animal and conservation experts – including Imagineer Joe Rohde – with a four-course meal inspired by the evening’s featured topic.

Next Friday, April 22, is Earth Day and Disney’s Animal Kingdom is celebrating with its Party for the Planet presented by Disneynature.
